ERRATUM

Errata

In the article entitled, "Everyday Physical Activity as a Predictor of Late-Life Mortality," published in The Gerontologist, 48 (3), 349–357, by Judith G. Chipperfield, the following changes should be made:

Text:

On page 352, column 1, the final line of the first paragraph should read: "...and Tobin (1961; {alpha} =.74).
On page 354, column 1, the penultimate sentence in the first paragraph should read: "Among the young-old individuals, as expected, the pattern of lower EPA scores with advancing age was found for men (b = –.76, t = 1.92, p =.03) but not for women (b = 17.83, t = 0.63, p =.53).
In all instances on page 354, under the heading "The Relationship Between EPA and Mortality," exist should be replaced with b.

On page 355, the caption for Figure 2 should read: "Percentages of deaths 2 years later for the total sample, women and men."
